Love Yourself Freely!

As you can see, I talk about love a lot! I'm convinced that most problems and conditions in life are due to the lack of acknowlegement of love. Love has cleansing power. If you ever cried at a sad movie, you know what I am talking about. Love is the single most important ingredient in all successes you will ever have in this lifetime.

This ingredient must be active in all of your actions, plans, dreams, thoughts, and giving to make a lasting impact. However, most importantly, love MUST be the active ingredient in how you treat yourself. Take pride in yourself by showing appreciation to yourself! That is the greatest form of love that you can show yourself. It took being down and depressed for me to figure out that it was impossible for me to feel good about myself while I focused on what I had not and what I was not. When I began to focus on what I was, I found that what I am is so much greater than what I am not! And catch this, I also quickly found out that the person that I am is well suited for the mission that God has placed me on in this lifetime.

Many times in life, we get caught up trying to impress or imitate others. However, if we would just seek to impress and imitate that person that appears back at us in the mirror, life would be so much simpler. That all begins with loving yourself enough to accept your shortcomings and work to improve on them by embracing your strengths daily.

Here are somethings that you can say to express love to yourself everyday:

"Today, I consciously choose to love myself regardless of what the world may think of me!"

"Today, I consciously choose to love myself and there is nothing that you can do about it!"

"I'm created in God's likeness and image, therefore, I consciously choose to to see myself as He sees me!"

"I am love, myself!"

There you go! I am sure that as you travel along your path, with love, you will find all that you are capable and meant to do. Just keep loving yourself!

God's Best...

I am very much in tuned to what my spirit picks up in my environment. I'm a firm believer that calm, positive thinkers get more done in this lifetime. In fact, I don't like to be in the presence of negativity at all. However, if it is an unavoidable situation, then I do whatever it takes to rid myself of the circumstances immediately.

Recently, I faced a very negative situation that was draining my energy and ability to get in tune with my spirit. In fact, it was so difficult, that I could not eat or sleep very well. At these times in life, we have to be extra diligent in flushing those toxins from our systems. So, I decided to go on a 3 day fast to get my mind re-centered.

As I prayed and fasted, I got solutions to some problems that were pressing against the very fiber of my existence. I realized, again, that the most powerful thing in this world is love! As matter of fact, the Bible teaches that God is love, which means that if love is absent from anything that you are doing, so is God! Well, I was doing so many things at once, all without love. How could this be? I am a very loving person and I get a huge kick out expressing love to those special people in my life. You see, I had gotten caught up trying to "fight" so many different battles, that I took my eyes off of my normal routine of sharing love.

I learned a very valuable lesson from that whole ordeal. And I am going to share with you what I did to let God's best channel through me again. It all started with prayer. I prayed that God would show me a way to get through this challenge. I told Him that I was in the presence of an enemy and I did not know which direction it was coming from. I let Him know that I felt overwhelmed and at my wit's end. As I got quiet, I got my answer. In my spirit, I heard, "God is love and love is God!" I also heard that, "what you reap comes from what you sow!" Then that's when it hit me, "Sow love!" I realized that if I am having a hard time, someone else could be also. Instead of focusing on my shortcomings, I decided to encourage someone else through their own. So, I wrote "love letters" to as many of my family members and friends whose addresses I could find. It seemed so simple that it had to work.

I could not have been more right. Many of the people who received one of those letters was in the middle of one life's storms. You know, one of those battles that seems impossible to beat. I got phone calls from all over the country from people who received that letter, but the message was the same, "I was going through something, but your letter encouraged me. It was as if God was speaking to me through your words." That was no accident, because God is love! Love is God's language. Now, here is the big thing, in sending those letters, I felt a release from the things that were attacking me. The phone calls, and subsequent reply letters, were just icing on the cake.

Do you want constant flow of God's best in your life? Just find a way to love and you WILL find a way to God!

For all of those interested, below is the letter that I wrote. As long as you let people know where you got it from, feel free to use with the people that matter most to you!

Dear _________________,

It is with great honor and tremendous honor that I write you this letter. I am compelled to write you a letter of love. If you weren't a member of my family, I would still love you. However, since you are a part of my bloodline, I love you that much more! Everyday, I pray for your success, prosperity, peace, health, happiness, protection, and Divine favor before I even pray for myself.

I pray that as you receive this letter, that God has sent you the vision of all that is yours in His riches and glory through Christ Jesus. I pray that no weapon formed against you and yours shall prosper in the name of Jesus Christ. I pray that peace that passeth all understanding resides in your household forever.

I pray that in every endeavor that you embark upon that you meet with supernatural favor before, during, and after. I pray that He prospers and orders your steps forever! I plead the blood of Jesus Christ over you and yours and I stand in agreement with you for all that God has promised you!

I love you! I love you with all of my heart!

The World’s Greatest Commodity!

What if I told you that the world’s greatest commodity can’t be sold or bought, bartered or traded for, controlled or manipulated, but the only way that you can receive it, is to give it away? Would you look at me like I was crazy? Many people do when I say this.

In my dealings in life, I have found that love is more valuable than silver and gold. It heals and it consoles. It forgives and it forgets. It motivates and it inspires. It unites and it connects.

Love finds ways to make others feel special. It finds a way to tell you that your nose fits perfectly on your face. It finds a way to tell you that you look good in those jeans. It finds a way to say everything else that our limited vocabulary cannot.

Love lends a helping hand in times of need. It can go a lot further and faster than a Lear jet. It can go a lot higher than the clouds in the sky.

Today, I choose to abundantly lavish you with the world's greatest commodity; Love! Share it with everyone else along your path today and forever!
